My Son's First Five Finger Discount

Happy Friday to Everyone!

I hope everyone's week went well. And let me go ahead and wish everyone a great and safe weekend. And for those along the eastern coast and up north (like myself), I hope the snow doesn't ruin your plans.

Now, for today's secret!

Today's secret for the locker is not all that the title implies. The source does not mean to incriminate her son. She just wanted to share a story that she always gets a kick out of every time she thinks about it. But at the time the story developed, she was doing anything but laughing.

She was out shopping for a gift for a friend's birthday. She'd just finished checking out and was headed for the exit with her five month old son in her arms, but was stopped by the alarm that began ringing as she exited. The security guard stopped her and asked her to check her bags, following what she figured was protocol, but still making her feel humiliated in front of the other customers watching. But then, the source of the upset presented itself.

Her son dropped the lipstick he'd grabbed when she wasn't looking, giving explanation to why her exit made the alarm go off.

And she, the guard, and the spectators watching had a good laugh after realizing just who the shoplifter was.
