My First Cut

Today's post takes me back to high school and how much I, and I'm sure a lot of you, preferred not to go to class if I had the choice. And today's source was no different.

Today's post is titled "My First Cut," and is a tribute to any and everyone who has cut class and has a story to tell about it.

This guy was barely a month into his first quarter as a freshman, but felt like he ruled the school. Well, at least the hallways and classrooms he frequented. So, deciding he'd already conquered a sizeable terrain, one day he figured he'd take a break from school and call it an early day.

So, he left.

He'd witnessed enough slip and slides (slipping out classroom and sliding out an exit) to commit one himself. So, he did.

He left.

He left school right before lunch and made a stop to grab something to eat on his way home to enjoy his self-proclaimed half day.

He knew his parents schedules like clockwork and knew that neither one of them would get home from work for a few hours. So, he grabbed some grub and headed home to enjoy his truancy by his lonesome along with his meal. But when he got home, he got the surprise of his young life.

His dad was home, too. But his car was parked inside the garage, so he didn't realize it until he had already walked inside his front door.

But it was too late.

He opened the door to find his father in his living room. Naked. With his assistant. In a more than compromising position.

And the image has never left him.

He hasn't been able to look at his father with a straight face since then.
