My First Crush

Friday's Finally Here!!!

I know that this week's blogs for Sheshena's Secret Locker have dealt with all sorts of relations, but for Friday, I'll have to make a left turn for another road.

Today's is about a girl's first crush that turned about being anything but.

Grade school days, playground for recess, and the girl was on the monkey bars showing how fast she could get across when her secret crush shows up with all of his boys to tease and taunt.

But despite their antics, she made it across the fastest she'd ever done before and was proud about her broken record.

But her crush wasn't impressed.

So much so that he decided to give it ago himself. And he beat her by half the time. So her victory was snatched away from her before she got a chance to celebrate.

And it was her crush that did it.

From that day forward, she no longer liked what she saw when she looked at her crush. And instead of being a crush, he became her biggest competition.

She can't say that she's beaten him at everything else since.

But he can't either.
