A Selfless Secret

A secret kept from others is a secret for the masses, but a secret kept for oneself is a secret to be admired.

There's nothing better than a secret kept because of one's selflessness. There's something so pure about keeping something to oneself simply as to not draw attention to the bearer. It's such an honest gesture that it's often lost on the masses because of the lack of punch in its delivery.

But I can appreciate someone whose secret is based solely from within.

Not something kept from others in fear of what could happen if it were to be exposed, but a secret kept solely because it was only for the bearer.

And that's the secret up for post today.

A secret need to be a role model for those that need it most: those who lack role models. Particularly, young ladies in need of guidance.

We see perfect examples of girls and women lacking guidance and someone to look up to everyday. They're sitting next to us on the train or walking by us on the street or standing next to us on line. And it's obvious that they need somebody to give them a clue. From what they say to how they say it to their silent gestures, it's clear that these girls and even women need something that they didn't get at home. So, what better than someone that wants nothing more than to give them just that? What better than an honest soul that wants nothing more than to pay forward what someone had done for them at some point in their life?

And what better secret than one that gives back?

I'm sure that the source of this secret is a role model to many, whether he/she knows it or not.
