As the year comes to its end, I would like thank everyone for their submissions, comments, and viewership over the month since Sheshena's Secret Locker launched. Without all of you, my locker wouldn't be possible because you all provide the secrets that keeps the blog going. So, during the week lapse between now and the next time I post to the locker, I encourage everyone to submit their secrets to get 2011 off to a juicy start by sending them via email to secrets@sheshenapledger.net. And I'll see you back here on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 with the first secret of the New Year.
Until then, I leave you with the last secret for Sheshena's Secret Locker for 2010.
This secret comes from someone whose secret is actually their New Year's Resolution for 2011.
This person hopes to find the words to tell her husband that she wants to go back to work. She's been an at home mother raising their three kids for the past eight years, and she's ready for a change. She just hasn't found the words to tell her husband, yet, because he's never been fond of the idea of her being a working mother. He has a very old school mentality and doesn't want his wife at work when he believes she should be at home with her kids. So, she's having a hard time forming the words to tell him that her needs exceed his wants.
And she needs a change.
She hopes that 2011 will bring her husband a new outlook on her role as his wife and herself a change of course. So, she'll be raising her glass high when the ball drops, hoping for her resolution to see the light of day.
I'm sure it will.
And I'd like to wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors outside of being an outstanding wife and mother.
See you in 2011!!!
